Requirements:
Complete a 10 minute tread water / 200 meter swim
Confined Water Training: 5 modules, 10 hours
Classroom Training: 5 modules, 10 hours
Open Water: 4 Open Water dives
The Junior Open Water Diver certification is the 1st complete PADI certification you can earn and invites you to discover the underwater world in Open Water with certain restrictions. These certifications are graduated, leading to PADI Open Water Diver.
Open Water Diver
Minimum age: 15 years old

The Open Water Diver certification is the first complete PADI certification you can earn and the most chosen course for beginners in Canada and worldwide.
This license is the most recognized in the dive industry and will allow you to dive anywhere in the world, independent of professional supervision, to a recommended maximum depth of 18 metres /60 feet. This license is your passport to adventure and the key to open the door of the wonderful underwater world.
From here, you're ready to move on to PADI Advanced Open Water Diver.
