PADI Wreck Diver
Minimum age: 15
Prerequisite: PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Certification
Requirements:
Classroom and Confined Water Training
Open Water: 4 Open Water dives
The course will cover equipment used for wreck diving and the hazards/safety procedures of wreck diving. You will start off with an orientation dive which involves mapping a wreck. On successive dives, you will hone your skills learning proper procedures for wreck penetration while using a wreck reel.
PADI Night Diver
Minimum age: 12
Prerequisite: PADI Open Water Diver Certification

Open Water: 3 Open Water dives
The adventure, thrill and excitement of night diving can be yours when you complete your PADI Night Diver Specialty course. You learn about night dive planning, equipment and navigation. You practice these on three night dives, plus introduce yourself to the an amazing variety of critters that comes out after the sun goes down.
PADI Deep Diver
Minimum age: 15
Prerequisite: PADI Open Water Diver Certification

After your first few scuba dives, you soon want to explore a bit deeper. There’s something exciting and mysterious about the depth that attracts dives.Many shipwrecks are often found in deeper water. That’s why the PADI Deep Diver course is a natural companion to the PADI Wreck Diver course.
PADI Enriched Air Nitrox
(EAN) Diver
Minimum age: 12
Prerequisite: PADI Open Water Diver Certification
Requirements:
Classroom Training
Open Water: No Open Water dives required
Enriched Air Nitrox (EAN) will allow you to enjoy the underwater world significantly longer, depending on the mix and your diving depth. Another benefit is shorter surface intervals, and reduced nitrogen absorption. Since there are no dives required for this training, it's an IDEAL course to keep you in 'diving mode' during Calgary's famous winters! (unless of course you're iced diving!)
PADI Drysuit Diver
Minimum age: 12
Prerequisite: PADI Open Water Diver Certification
Requirements:
Classroom and Confined Water Training
Open Water: 2 Open Water dives
By excluding water almost completely, drysuits are usually less bulky and allow the diver to move more freely. Staying warmer and using less energy to move about means that drysuit divers tend to use less air, and make more dives per day. Add to that the ultimate goal of keeping warm while you enjoy the dives.
PADI Ice Diver
Minimum age: 18
Prerequisite: PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Certification
Requirements:
Classroom and Confined Water Training
Open Water: 3 Open Water (under Ice) dives
You can be one of the few that have ever dove under a solid ceiling of ice.Your course will take you through the proper planning and preparation for ice diving and cover mandatory safety equipment and procedures. You'll then have an opportunity to practice line handling and safety procedures in the pool. Over a weekend, you will conduct three under ice dives to complete your certification. You'll dive from a custom ice diving house to keep you warm and provide all special safety equipment (lines, harnesses, etc).
Ice dives are conducted at Lake Minnewanka.
Remember . . . Ice Diving is COOL, not cold!
